Though his name goes unsung in carols, for centuries Stockwell has quietly shielded us from holiday disaster with a humble duty: guardian of the stocking.

This knight in shining wool protects sacred toys and thoughtful gifts from thievery and harm, ensuring that the only tears on Christmas are those of pure joy.

Hang Stockwell from your stocking each year to ensure protection from holiday disasters.

If you're interested in adopting Stockwell or would like to read more about him, you can find him listed in my Etsy shop.

I've been busy sewing away custom holiday orders and hope to be posting a giveaway towards the end of this week! If you're interested in requesting a custom for someone special, I am still open for Christmas orders. Email: to chat about your ideas and for a quote.

Soooo I shared my new little fox guy last week and here's the final part! I often have requests for little creatures to decorate nursery's or as a gift that can sit on a shelf and will become something special the child will always have. I wanted to create something that made the keepsakes a bit more personal so I designed this special customizable print.

All you need to do is send along baby's full name, date & time of birth, weight & length, and parent's or parent name you'd like to see on the print. I'll send you a screen proof for final approval before going to print and sewing the custom Fox to go with it.

Thinking little Fox Creatures for baby girls will have a bow, Fox Creatures for baby boys will not.

Definitely planning some other creatures for keepsakes. I'll make sure to post pics :) But you can find this Fox design listed on Etsy.
Hope you like <3

Sharing a couple of new Creatures that were in the works this week. The first little guy I'm pretty excited about, he's a new design to RAWR and I have another surprise planned for him that will be posted next week!

A tiny fox friend that comes with or without a bow and wood cut flower.

You can find a listing to have your very own RAWR Fox created for you on my RAWR Etsy shop. You can choose what accent colours you'd like to see on your little fox.

Each RAWR Fox is one-of-a-kind and hand sewn using found vintage buttons, so your Fox will be very similar to the one featured in photos, but unique and made special for you.

Next Creature I finished up this week is another custom order Dobby from Harry Potter!

Super happy with the fabric I found to make this guy's little bag shirt. It brings much more texture to the design than the first little Dobby I created.

You can also find a custom listing for Dobby on Etsy to have one of these guys made special for you.

There were a few other Creatures that happened this week but they are surprise presents, so I will have to wait to share pics! But I can tell you, one will be a new design in the shop available for custom purchase! Absolutely can't wait to share :)

Also, I wanted to share the big news in our lives this week! This little guy will be coming home a week today. I don't know how I'm going to wait that long! We are still trying to figure out a great name for the little guy, so please feel free to post suggestions! <3

Enjoy the weekend!!!

Happy to share some of the Halloween Creatures that have been happening around here lately. This is my favourite time of the year and I absolutely can't help myself when it comes to Halloween thingies :) I've had such a blast creating some new creatures for Halloween this year, and if time allows, hopefully there will still be some more to come!

This is the smallest out of all the little Halloween guys. He's a black Cyclops with orange, purple & silver accents and proudly wears his favourite candy front & centre!

This is a brightly coloured Trick-or-Treater eeP. She is a little larger than a normal eeP and comes with her very own handmade Trick-or-Treat bag.

A bright pink and black Trick-or-Treater Owl. She's a little larger than a normal size eeP as well and comes with her own handmade Trick-or-Treat bag to make collecting candy easier.

This is the largest Creature from this Halloween series. She sits over 12" tall and adorns a felted pirate pumpkin appliqué and bright orange candy corn bow. She comes with her own handmade treat bag as well filled with handmade creature candies, skulls and lollipops!

I love this tiny little Spider web eeP. She has a tiny little bow and is again one of the smaller little ones from the bunch.

A medium size brightly coloured owl, with felt witches' hat and handmade trick-or-treat bag.

All RAWR Halloween Creatures come with an official RAWR adoption certificate for you to fill out once you've named your new friend. A RAWR sticker, and fun little Halloween treats for you and your creature to share.

All of these little guys have been posted to Etsy! So pop over if you'd like to check out more photos or if you're interested in adopting a new spooky friend.
Happy October and All Hallow's Eve <3

Quick update to share some photos of my latest creatures!

Dobby! This has been my third Harry Potter request and I had a lot of fun sewing this guy :) I have since received a couple more requests for Dobby! Looking forward to creating some more, next time around I'm going to play around with some tea-dying for his little bag shirt. ;)

Next is a brand new design to RAWR :) I'm so happy with these little hoodie guys. These 2 little guys have both been adopted and are currently on their way to Indiana!

These guys are about 3 – 5" tall, have a weighted base and a snuggly sweater :)

I'm just finishing up a very special creature this evening. I will have to share pictures later this week :)

So excited today is Friday! It's been a very busy week and some relaxing is much needed :) I wanted to do a quick post to share a couple of things.

First, a mini surprise giveaway!
New stickers arrived in the mail today and since stickers are super fun and need to be stuck on things, the first people to email with your mailing address, will receive a new RAWR sticker and pin!

UPDATE: all stickers have claimed packed and shipped :) thanks! :)

Second, here's a little peek at what was in my mailbox this morning.
I have the perfect place for my new Mohu Goldfish. I'll post a pic when he gets all settled in. Mohu is lovely to purchase from and her packaging is absolutely adorable.

The screen printed graffiti patches are for an upcoming custom order. Really looking forward to starting that creature soon.

Love mail days <3
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Last winter I shared a tutorial on how to make a sock teddy bear. The response has been great and it's been so much fun chatting and seeing everyone's creations! I wanted to do a follow up post to share some of the pictures that were sent to me.

Glenn's Creations

Pamela's Creation

Raych's Creation – she even took it one step further and made Mr. Teddy into a bunny!

Shannon's Creations

2012 Melbourne Medical School Conference – All these teddies were made by the Medical students and then donated to the local children's hospital! <3

My little teddy is still around. He's found a permanent home on the bookshelf guarding the vinyls.

I'd love to see more of your teddy creations, please feel free to post links to your pictures here or email I'd love to see and share what you've made!
